Curriculum - ICT
Christ the King School currently has a major strategic plan for information computer technology. All teaching staff have their own allocated laptop and digital camera. Each classroom has at least one desktop computer and recently the school purchased 15 new laptops. Along with the 13 laptops already owned, this has given classrooms the capability of utilizing 28 laptops for children in a classroom setting.
The children are able to research individually for Inquiry learning; a major part of our curriculum. They are presenting projects using programs such as Inspiration and iMovie, along with practising and learning math skills with fun exciting and interactive software.
We are looking into the 21st century by purchasing in the future, data projectors for classrooms and interactive whiteboards.
